DELOYE, JEAN BAPTISTE GUSTAVE (French). Contemporary French Sculptor and Medallist, born at Sedan (Ardennes), 30 April 1838, died in February 1899. Pupil of Jouffroy, Lemaire, and Dantan. A cast bronze Portrait-medallion of the Princess of Wales was exhibited by him at the New Gallery, London, 1888, in a case containing others of his works. R.
