DUCROX alias CLAUDE ARCHÉ (French). Engraver at the Mint of Lyons, end of the seventeenth and beginning of the eighteenth, centuries. He suffered capital punishment in 1716 for having forged coins. DIEUDONNÉ (French). Sculptor and Medallist of the first halt of the nineteenth century. In 1818 he was rewarded with a medal of the Second Class for his medallic portrait of the Duke of Orleans. He is also the author of a medal on the death of the Duke of Berry and of Portrait-pieces of several other contemporary celebrities.
