GABRY, JEAN (Belg.). Seal-engraver, circa 1552. He was paid the sum of 15 livres by the magistrate of Tournay in 1552 for engraving the large and small seals of the mayor and aldermen of the city. The document reads : " ? Jehan Gabry, le josne, orph?vre, pour avoir refaict les grand et petit sceaulx d'argent des mayeur et eschevins de ladicte ville." Bibliography. — A.
