FUCHS, HEINRICH (Austr.). Medallist of the first half of the eighteenth century; contemporary with Donner, Kittel, and Schega; he was working in Austria between 1716 and 1720. His signature H. Fuchs appears on a medal, dated 1719, of Count von Dohna, struck in honour of the Emperor Charles VI. This engraver was appar- ently employed at the Mint of Vienna and worked for Bohemia.
