KRAENDEL, WENZEL (Austr.). Mint-engraver at Hall in Tyrol, 1484-1496, " Eysengreber der grossen Groschen. " He cut the dies of the well-known Tyrolian Thaler, the so-called "Grosser Groschen", dated 1486, which shows on obv. the Duke Sigismund standing full face (illustrated).
