In medieval and early modern Germany, the Münzmeister ("mint master", the Latin term is monetarius) was the director or administrator of a mint, a moneyer with responsibility for the minting of coins, or specie. His duties were defined differently at different locations and ages.

LIPPI, FILIPPINO (Ital.) . Florentine Painter (1460-1504); son of Fra Filippo Lippi ; he is presumed to have been a pupil of Botticelli. His earliest known work is the " Vision of St. Bernard" in Florence, and he executed various works in Bologna, Genoa and Rome ; painted frescoes and altar-pieces, and scenes in the lives of St. Peter and St. Paul.
